Circle Round the Square, Paper Circle’s arts and wellness programming for children, was launched in the summer of 2005 in response to the lack of art education K-8 in the Nelsonville York City School District. Our intensive summer programming provides area students with hands-on experiences designed to introduce them to a wide range of arts and wellness activities, lacking in the school curriculum. Following its resounding success, the program has grown each year in participation and programming. (Please see history)

Our goal remains to help children develop creative skills, improve their self-esteem, and foster friendships and group interaction through the creative process of making art. Our program is based on four principles: learn, create, accomplish, and be recognized.

Thank you Mehri Davis and Pradeep Edussuriya for the gorgeous photographs you will see on this site. Thank you to our webmaster Chris Frye of Vanguard Graphics, for your tireless work.
